Principal Dentist

Fiona graduated from Cork University Dental school and hospital in 2012. She spent 6 years working in various dental practices in the southeast before returning West to join her father, Dr. Colman Counihan at Counihan Dental Practice in 2018

Aisling Counihan
Hygienist

Aisling graduated as a dental hygienist from UCC in 2011. She joined Counihan Dental Practice in 2019. She is also a registered general nurse and continues to work in private medical practice part-time.

Colleen McAllen
Practice Manager

Colleen has been working in the dental industry since 2000 and thus has a wealth of experience in clinical settings. She joined Counihan Dental Practice in 2006 as a dental nurse. She became our practice manager in 2020.

Lilly Maguire
Dental Surgery Assistant

Lilly joined Counihan Dental Practice in 2025. She is enrolled in the dental nursing course with Cork University dental school and hospital this coming year.

Leah O Donnell
Dental Nurse

Leah joined Counihan Dental Practice in 2023. She qualified as a dental nurse in 2026 and has completed the Radiography for dental nurses course with Cork University dental school and hospital.
